JAMIE ARAMAYO

Growing up in Warrington, UK, Jamie Aramayo was exposed from an early age to an eclectic range of music by his father who is a DJ himself. He was especially drawn to artists such as Dusky, Jammer, and Skepta who fired him up in the gym as he boxed at an amateur level for England. Jamie took an interest in DJing when his father played his 13th birthday party. From then on he started to experiment with his father’s DJ equipment. At the age of 17, Jamie saw Disclosure play in Manchester. The show inspired him to run off with his father’s equipment and start spinning house parties around northern England. It wasn’t until he attended the University of Liverpool that he started to delve into music production. Today, he is one of the most compelling up-and-coming producers in the underground UK house scene. The 25-year-old DJ and Producer sits atop a mountain of unreleased music that blurs the lines between house and garage. His 404 kicks, garage chops, and changes are the perfect ingredients that make musical bombs which allow him to blow the roof off of iconic venues like Mint Festival, Fabric, 93 Feet East, and sell out all three “J&Friends” events in his hometown of Warrington. Supported by the likes of East End Dubs, Archie Hamilton, Max Dean, Sosa, and more, Jamie is just getting started.
